A full accounting

Now that we're getting closer to 2,000 autographed pucks, Moody, Hound Central 5.0's roving Southeast correspondent, has tackled the endeavour of verifying, through a spreadsheet program, the totals of the collection.

As a result, he found that the count stands at 1,985 pucks (and this may change as the "audit" progresses), not 1,988, as initially reported earlier today after we added eight pucks from members of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Still, it looks like we'll hit the next milestone with the Boston Bruins. A solid effort on Saturday, when the Atlanta Thrashers play the Lightning, will help.

And, yes, Hound Central 5.0 hopes that the Bruins' Patrice Bergeron provides No. 2,000.
